Gray and charcoal gnomes.
Inspired by Nordic Christmas gnomes, I wanted to create some that were similar in appearance, but a bit more modern. Here is my version of these burly winter characters...
This set includes three gnomes, each a different size, but similar in appearance.
The tallest gnome is approximately 30" tall and holds a garland of silver snowflakes in his hands.
The middle gnome is about 19.5" tall. He holds a stick and a bundle of snowy branches with a couple of snowflakes hanging.
The smallest gnome is approximately 16.5" tall and is holding one snowflake in his hand.
To make each of their coats, I upcycled a soft light gray knit sweater that I picked up at the thrift store, meanwhile the hats were sewn from a short-haired faux fur fabric that has a silver sheen on its surface. Inside each hat is a wire that can be used to adjust and shape the hat into many different positions.
I had these guys hanging out by my front door this past holiday season and with many people coming through, they received a lot of compliments!
