Silver and white gnomes.
I've always loved the simple, clean, and unique look of Nordic Christmas home decor. Especially these cute, chubby, hairy characters. I wanted to add some of that Nordic charm to my home this Christmas and these gnomes were the perfect thing.
I decided to make a set of three gnomes; each a different size but all matching. I sewed the silver coats and white hats for each by upcycling a couple of old sweaters I picked up at the thrift store. I love the light silver/gray coats with the white knit hats. It's a modern, clean, and simple combination. Each gnome has a wire that extends to the tip of its hat so the hat shape can be adjusted.
The tallest gnome stands at approximately 30" tall and holds a thick branch with a silver star hanging at the tip...
The middle gnome is about 22" tall and holds a silver star in his hand...
...while the shortest gnome is 18" tall and has a silver star hanging off the tip of his hat.
With their plump noses and burly beards, these gnomes are sure to warm up the home with their charm.
