Quick and easy photo art.
What a great way to transform a plain photo into a unique piece of art? I took an image I wanted to showcase of my hubby and I and played around with it in iPhoto until I had a black and white, grainy, rough look. I printed the photo on photo paper on my home printer and cut it up into squares. I adhered square pieces of foam cardboard to the backs of select photo squares so that when they photo was assembled, some pieces were elevated. This gave the overall image a cool 3D effect. For the background I cut a piece of white cardboard to fit the frame and roughly painted a black centre. I adhered the photo pieces onto the background, slightly rotating a few. Finally, the whole background with the assembled photo puzzle was set inside the frame.
This puzzle idea is really inexpensive and works with just about any style of photography. A great way to add visual interest to your home decor!
