Window frame Christmas card holder.
Every Christmas season, it's a disaster trying to keep my house from looking like a Christmas card bomb exploded inside it. I love receiving all the Merry mail, but placing it all over the house in random spots left me wishing that I had one dedicated, organized spot for all these cards. And so with that thought came the idea for this fancy little card holder.
The frame was made of reclaimed solid wood slats, stained in medium-dark walnut, then lightly dry brushed in white. A garland of wintery greens, natural pine cones, and accents of silver and white cascade up one side of the frame. Jute twine criss-crossing the frame at various levels provides many spaces for hanging not only Christmas cards, but kids' holiday art work, or displaying annual family pictures with Santa. It's also a great way to add festive decor to your home by changing out the typical year-round bulletin board for this one.
