Birthday onesie.

Any life milestone is a big deal, but we all love kids' birthdays, especially if it's the very first birthday! Parents like to commemorate this big event with some professionally taken photography and usually this calls for a special outfit.

In this case, I had a mom reach out to me with a specific request for a simple birthday outfit for her little man. She sent over a photo and I was able to make exactly what she wanted. 

I transformed a plain, white onesie into a cute birthday outfit. I sewed on the "1" in the centre front and from the same fabric made a bow tie. A matching fabric ribbon with a chevron print sewed on either side makes for fashionable "suspenders". 

It's a great way to mark this moment in time and a wonderful keepsake for years to come.
